日中はまだ暑いときもあるけど、着実に秋の気配。。。
オーブンフル稼働の週末。

連日の猛暑。。。そんな中でもぼちぼち作ってます。。
Scorching 34c every day.....though it's certainly not encouraging to turn on the oven, I still made some cakes.

Summer Cupcakes
寒いのはキライだから、夏は好き。大好き。
でも、ケーキデコレーションにはこの気温と湿気は大敵。
すぐにやわらかくなってしまうバターとフォンダン。。。ですが、夏らしい仕上がりのカップケーキたち。
I like summer, in fact, I love it!! I don't mind if it's summer all year around.
But!!! This heat plus humidity is not cake dacoration friendly at all....butter starts to melt, fondant gets too soft, yet I managed to make some summery cupcakes.

Peggy Porschen Wedding Cake Master Class in London
ロンドンからウィーンに戻りました。ロンドンに行った目的は？
そう、このケーキのレッスンを受けるため。
I just came back from London to Vienna....why did I go to London?
Simply because I really wanted to take this class!
ロンドンで活躍するドイツ人ケーキデコレーター、ペギー ポーション。
ウィーンに滞在していることを利用して、一足のばしてロンドンまで彼女から直々のレッスンを受けられる機会に恵まれました。
ロンドンのベルグラビアにある彼女のケーキパーラーはこちら。
中での写真撮影は禁じられていましたが、ご想像どうり、ピンク色のこの上ないキュートな空間。
Peggy Porschen..a renowned German cake decorator based in London.
Taking an advantage of staying in Vienna, as a huge fan of Peggy, I had the privilege to take the class taught by Peggy herself.
This is her cake parlour in London's Belgravia.
Photography inside wasn't allowed, but as you can imagin, it's as cute as it can be!
このレッスンのためにロンドンまでわざわざ来たのは私だけではありませんでした。。。ドイツ、アイルランド、香港、スイス、ドバイ。。。いろんなところからレッスンをみんな受けに来ていました。
I wasn't the only one who flew to London for this class...Germany, Ireland, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Dubai....we all came to London to take Peggy's class!!
予想していた通り、満足なレッスン。とっても良い体験となったのでした！
As expected, it was a great experience...I can't wait to make cakes again in my kitchen!!
